Cass can read body language to the point where she knows what someone is going to do, even down to how they feel about her. To avoid godmoding, I would very much appreciate if you could fill out this handy little form and post it in the comments below /o/

Is body reading allowed? Generally, yes. I will endeavor to put his readable intentions in tags. She probably CAN tell that his general expression is usually the opposite of what he feels - he smiles when he's angry or upset, he looks bored or contemptuous when he's pleased, etc. It's not even out of an active intent to deceive, really, just very long-standing habit. He's not always insincere, though.
Is there anything Cass should NOT be able to see? OTOH, I do think in his case he might be able to fool her occasionally if he actively tries; he's 2000+ years old and he's been ruthlessly training/repressing/controlling his own reactions for all of that time. When he acts in a certain way/character, he never slips. Are you okay with that?
Is there anything you would PREFER she not see? Nothing super specific comes to mind. She can definitely know that he's way older than he looks, less callous than he acts (or realizes himself), has been tortured a lot, and isn't particularly combat-trained.
If your character wears some kind of disguise or costume, could Cass recognize them? IT WOULD DEPEND ON CIRCUMSTANCES we can discuss thing if it comes up
Anything else to add? he's a god and doesn't know it, I have no idea how that effects things O_O

Is there anything Cass should NOT be able to see? I think maybe she could occasionally misread him because he's an alien??? but then again he's also totally an open book emotions-wise so it's up to you
Is there anything you would PREFER she not see? nope, go ahead
If your character wears some kind of disguise or costume, could Cass recognize them? lol yes, but he's the only grey skinned orange horned alien so I don't think that's really an issue
Anything else to add? some of his primary driving emotions - wanting to get back to his moirail and kismesis - are about relationships that don't really have clear human parallels, but I'm fine with explaining anything you need! If he goes too long without sleeping in a sedative solution called sopor, he's going to have day terrors awful nightmares and be extra twitchy. In his society violence is much more common and for a lot more purposes than in among humans - fighting is a way of communicating for them on a lot of levels. So he might intend to swing at somebody but not have at all the same level of hostility behind it. LASTLY he is super creeped out by being around so many adults, that's not a thing that's supposed to happen in his worldview.

How would you feel if, in the case of Hado, she can tell something is up/wrong/off but not what or why she's getting conflicting feedback for him? I think that if he has to actively try to fool her that would show up in his body language, but she would probably just let him think it was working and never actually bring it up.

Unless it was with the intention of like tricking her so he can brutally murder some people.

WELL it would depend on his motivation it's not so much that he would like, even try to trick her in a specific instance

so much as when he is in character one way or another he is COMPLETELY IN CHARACTER but I'm not sure whether those circumstances would even crop up as travelers

I think given his normal level of fucked up opposite-reactions she'd probably think he was weird from the get-go and she'd notice when/if that level of conflicting signals stopped though so

yeah she can be like 'what even with this guy' /continues to observe lots

Yeah I'm totally good with going with her just realizing SOMETHING is up but not what or why. She'll just stalk him for awhile it's fine it's fine
