[When the video feed comes on, it looks like everything is upside down. Only Cassandra's neck and chin are visible at first, showing a lopsided frown as she fumbles with the communicator, nearly drops it, and then finally turns it upside down. Now the view is her face right side up, and she grins into the camera before a paning shot shows she is hanging upside down from a tree in the CES.]

Crunches. Upside down. 500. Bored.

[She could have done this in the gym, yes, but there are less people here usually. Besides-]

Climbed the tree. Always wanted... to try. Bats are upside down. Funny, because [She puts her hand on her chest here.] Batgirl. Warden.

[And then she waves.] Hi.

...you are referring to the social interaction between two individuals, often involving romantic undertones?

[She was less surprised by the thought of Cass and Kon going on a date as she was simply attempting to understand the concept. She knew what dates were, but she had never actually been on one herself. Nor had she ever felt the desire to.]

Do these 'dates' often involve the manipulation of planetary atmosphere?

[There you go with those huge words again, Aya. Some of them she doesn't understand at all, but from the ones surrounding it, she can guess close to what she's talking about.]

... We didn't go... to the beach. No undertow.

[The key word there is close.]

Don't know. Only been... on one.

The notion of going on a date would imply desire to spend time with a special individual in a more personal setting.

There is no such person who matches these parameters aboard the ship.
