•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Cass is 5'5 with short black hair and brown eyes. Scent-wise she doesn't wear perfume, so she'll probably just smell like tea and shampoo most of the time. For clothes she'll mostly be wearing jeans and sneakers and tanktops, but most of her body is covered in old scars so she'll be wearing hoodies in public to save people from having to see all that.
She talks weird, so expect stilted sentences and mixing up words. (snitches =/= stitches)
•DEMEANOR: Withdrawn at first, tending towards aggressive outbursts if she doesn't know you and you get in her face and don't back down first. She'll punch, but she'll give fair warning first. Once she gets to know people and settles in that will fade to a more accepting tolerance of conversation. She's extremely capable of being very loving and expressive with people, but it's gonna take her some time to get there.

Is there anything you would like Cass to pick up on? How agitated Roderick gets when people get physically close to him - although most of the time he just ends up punching them when he gets really mad so it's not exactly subtle.

Is there anything you would like Cass to pick up on? Bucky generally acts like a normal, fully functional human being, but when having a bad day seems a little more worn down and actually maybe a little angry, or at least darker.
Any specfic character traits she should note? Despite spending 90% of any given day wearing a military uniform, Bucky carries himself very casually and maybe with a little bit of a swagger. He's often startled by unexpected loud noises and can be caught off guard by unexpected physical contact - he might flinch if you sneak up on him and touch his arm, but he'll potentially reach violently (i.e. grabbing the person by the wrist or jerking away) if someone grabs him or goes for a vulnerable spot like his neck. He also seems to have better reflexes than the average human, but will brush it off if she ever tries to call attention to it. HE'S ALSO ALMOST ALWAYS ARMED, but sometimes keeps the weapons hidden. He's got two sidearms and at least one trench knife, and while the guns sometimes aren't on him, the knife is almost always on him somewhere.
If your character wears some kind of disguise or costume, could Cass recognize them? If there's ever a reason for him to wear one, sure!

DAVID 8

Is there anything you would like Cass to pick up on? David seems very, very human, but does move very stiffly compared to a normal human. They're fluid movements, but still seem sort of too perfect and precise to be real, and his facial expressions sometimes seem a little faked.
Any specific character traits she should note? David's emotional range is a lot more limited than a normal human's, so it would probably be difficult if not outright impossible for her to 100% read what he's thinking or feeling just because he has less cues to pick up on.
If your character wears some kind of disguise or costume, could Cass recognize them? Sure! It will likely be obvious anyway because David is the worst.

PETER PARKER

Is there anything you would like Cass to pick up on? That Peter looks like he should be about as graceful as a giraffe, but is actually probably on par with Dick when pushed into acts of ridiculous athletic ability, even ignoring that he's stronger and faster, etc.
Any specific character traits she should note? Nah, all his stuff is pretty out in the open now and he doesn't have a lot of nervous tics. He does however keep his webshooters on him all the time.

Is there anything you would like Cass to pick up on? That Elsa is a constant ball of fear and anxiety even when she's trying to be a functional person.
Any specific character traits she should note? Elsa is really, really careful in how she moves, especially with her hands and arms. She usually wears gloves on board, and virtually never gestures with her hands. When she's especially upset, she keeps them tucked close to her or clasped together, and when she starts to lose control, the air gets cooler and frost spans out around wherever she's standing.
If your character wears some kind of disguise or costume, could Cass recognize them? Sure, if it ever comes up.

Is there anything Cass should NOT be able to see? Nope. There might be times that Barbara intentionally modifies her body language to try and obscure something, but I think Cass could at least tell she was doing that.

Any specific character traits she should note? Some things are probably different than the Barbara she remembers from home - she's more open, most of the time, but also more on edge.

Is there anything Cass should NOT be able to see? Nope. Jean is an open book pretty much.
Is there anything you would like Cass to pick up on? If Jean's not heavily focusing on something else, I think all of her guilt and grief and fear would be pretty clear.
Any specfic character traits she should note? Sincerity, compassion, and - when Jean's angry, it should be - really clear and harsh and powerful. Like. Shouting with her body.
If your character wears some kind of disguise or costume, could Cass recognize them? Sure!
Anything else to add? Cass might notice that Jean doesn't move quite like a normal person. I don't think she'd pinpoint "is also an ancient cosmic force", but she could see something is different.

Lmfao strangers touching him makes him angry?? idk, general Connorisms are all good things to notice. I don't know if she'd notice that his speaking patterns are kind of stiff, being ESL herself, but maybe she would notice that he speaks all 18th century fancy? Also I'm running under the assumption that his abdominal injury is a chronic thing, as it's only been like six months since that happened and lol 18th century medicine, so he may move a little gingerly sometimes when it's acting up.

He has a lot going on internally, which is sometimes at odds with how he presents himself to people he doesn't know (stoic, cold, etc). He has some anger issues but I don't know if they will come up in regards to Cass herself, since she doesn't really ping any of the things that piss him off :V But in case she encounters it secondhand or something, he has that rage thing, which he tries to keep tempered even if it's very obvious in his posture/face. GENERALLY SPEAKING ALSO, his Assassin training should be pretty apparent in the way he moves.

Is there anything you would like Cass to pick up on? That Anya is 90% of the time aware of cass doing body-reading; not in the sense of *letting* herself be read because Cass could read her anyway, but aware of Cass's awareness of her feelings and using that as parallel/complimentary communication.
Any specfic character traits she should note? Wow she's a lot more stable than she was when Cass left, much personal growth, so warden. Mostly.

Is there anything you would like Cass to pick up on? he feels sort of adrift and despairing all the time as a baseline, he's just shambling through it because total self-destruction would hurt the people he loves
Any specfic character traits she should note? He feels his emotions weirdly strongly!! As a result of coming back to life after half a millenium of brainworm-induced apathy. He's relearned some rudimentary self-control, but his emotional volume is stuck on high and volatile even when he's sitting still. He's also still unusuall aware of his own breathing and heartbeat, because it's so fast and new. Sometimes he forgets to breathe regularly and runs out of air and has to gasp suddenly.

Is there anything you would like Cass to pick up on? despite the perpetual gloomy lineface and a lot of fretting, he is not actually miserable most of the time
Any specfic character traits she should note? He's in chronic, severe pain from the spikes, and she could probs tell that there are many chest/torso/organ spikes as well as the visible ones in his head. He mostly doesn't burn pewter, so he doesn't have Vin & Zane's trademark Mistborn grace. He does move very, very smoothly and economically - to avoid jostling said spikes. Also sometimes it's as though he's listening to quiet, steady drums no one else can hear - he can sense Zane and Vin doing allomancy elsewhere on ship when he's burning bronze, which is always, if they're in public spaces.

Is there anything you would like Cass to pick up on? I think I got it covered in narration mostly BUT her general nervous/adrenal system, the entirety of her reastions, are a little artificially supressed. Without the gods or other triggers, she's perpetually on 'Off-Mission' status, which means physiological docility and a mild torpor by default (although she can *get* excited about things, it takes more stimulus, which she craves, and fades quickly).
Any specfic character traits she should note? bad at empathy, good at glib charm and insinuating herself which she is generally not bothering to do, vaguely trying to be better at empathy. vaguely.

Is there anything you would like Cass to pick up on? although this is muted to plot-acceptable levels on the barge and within an unspecified but small radius, OTHER PEOPLE are calmer/saner/more psychologically whole/well-adjusted in his presence. He himself is a minor wreck. He also reacts to people as though he's seeing a lot more of who they are than a normal person could - his view of the universe isn't quite the same as Cass's but he can pick up a TON from the godmoddy/ridiculously minute tics of body language.
Any specfic character traits she should note? he generally, very deftly, avoids touching people if possible. It's not a deliberate thing, it's an old habit. His touch doesn't break people anymore but he still subconsciously navigates the world as though it might.

Is there anything you would like Cass to pick up on? She ever so often sniffs the air if she senses something off, or might tilt her head a bit as if she's listening to something only she can hear. They're very small barely noticeable personality tics, but they likely come off as a bit...feral.
Any specfic character traits she should note? She doesn't carry herself like a fighter, but she does have very rigid and compact body language, unafraid to shift to an aggressive stance or fast movement if the occasion warrants it. There's an ingrained wariness to her that's indicative of spending time in prison.

Is there anything you would like Cass to pick up on? His body language fairly screams of someone who's used to being in control of other people, and in a more executive business setting. He goes to a lot of effort to seem composed and emotionless at all times, but there's an air of tension that virtually always seems to underlie his exterior no matter what.
Any specfic character traits she should note? Anger can really shake him up, and when he gets mad it becomes a war between his control and his temper. As a fighter he's aggressive and attack oriented; he has good body awareness but a tendency to lose it completely when he gets too mad.
If your character wears some kind of disguise or costume, could Cass recognize them? Whether Cass meets him with or without his fake skin on first, she'll immediately be able to tell who he is no matter what. Nothing about his body language changes regardless of whether he's maintaining a baseline human appearance or not.
