My inmate. Shit, you've never met Slevin, have you?

He's basically been a crazy assassin since he was little, you'd love him. Just the right blend of sarcastic asshole that's hard to come by these days.

[This is something else that she didn't expect. Talking to Chris and hearing him talking about his inmate, his warden status, it's making her calm down. She isn't thinking quite so hard about hitting things until she can't move anymore, the parts in her brain that are screaming for movement are quieting so she can listen to Chris instead.

When he says my inmate she even smiles, the smallest twitch of her lips as she watches him through the communicator.]

Guess you... do well with us. Crazy assassins.

[Chris grins right back. He might not always understand or get Slevin on a personal level, but he likes the guy. And he gets along with him worlds better than he had when they were first paired]

Maybe. It took a while, I mean, he basically just kills mob kids in his world and hi, I'm a mob kid. But I think we're past that now. He's pretty awesome. Dickish, but awesome. You should meet him sometime.

Yeah, Zane's cool. I think he's going through some crap right now in his life but maybe once he calms down, or something.

God, let's see, who else wouldn't you know...Scotty and Stiles, maybe, they're running the lacrosse team. Do you play lacrosse?

Stiles is pretty cool. He's captain of ours, so you'll at least get to meet him there. Oh, and Mickey's around, but he's brand new to this wardening thing and I'm trying to help him out because maaaaan what a prick.

[She almost points out that she needs to break things and she had been a warden once, but it doesn't seem like it applies now. She's an inmate now, saying but I did it only makes it seem clearer she never should have been a warden in the first place.]

New how? People aren't... usually new. It's rare, to be new.
