[It's late, it's been dark for hours and she's pretty sure everyone else is sleeping, but Cass can't. It's not really a new thing, since generally crime fighters are out all night anyway, but the events of the port haven't helped much.

She's in her room when she turns the feed on, dressed in her Batgirl costume except for the cowl and gloves. She feels more like herself, dressed this way.]

What are... tips, for sleeping? Or... to do, to make tired? Don't say reading.

Is anyone else... even up?



[He said she could visit when she wanted. She even told him it might be at night and he said it was okay. That's why Cass is at Merlin's door in the middle of the night, not knocking before she just goes right in. The door was unlocked, so maybe he remembered she said she'd visit. She doesn't look around before she closes the door behind her because she's not really sneaking, so getting caught isn't exactly on her mind.

It's dark inside, which is good. It means he's sleeping instead of staying up all night doing magic things, or whatever it is Merlins do in their spare time. She makes her way to his bed, then climbs onto it to sit beside him and poke him in the shoulder.]

Go to a woman named Arkady, shes a psychic of sorts. She helped me out when I was in a bad way. She might be able to help you love. She works at the bar with me so if you want I could talk to her and let her know you might be needin' some help. Just let me know.

[Oh, she didn't mean to shout that and as soon as she does, she looks apologetic. The last time someone messed around in her mind, they gave her the power to speak but it made her lose her ability to read body language. She couldn't fight effectively anymore and Batman took her off active duty. She can't lose those things again.]

[ He lookedat her a moment a bit shocked by the outburst before smiling a bit more easily and shrugging.]

Hey, no worries love, it ain't for everyone. You never be knowin' what one's doin' up there but Arkady is good people so I generally trust her.

Don't worry 'bout it, it takes a lot more then that to hurt me feelin's love. though if you be needin' someone to talk too, I'm always willin'.

[She sounds so relieved, because not everyone would just brush it off that easily. But she wants to change the subject, and quickly, before either of them have time to dwell on that.]

Why are... you still up?

Because I sleep like a vampire love, I go to sleep between three or four in the mornin' and get up some time 'round noon. I work at the bar so I work later at night.

Anything aside o' insomnia keepin' you up?

[Which is the truth, really. It's just not exactly the whole truth.]

Your like Steph huh? [ He chuckled a bit.] She's my warden by the by.

[ He wasn't sure he'd ever mentioned he was an inmate or not. He offered her a bit of a smile.]

If you get too bored we could work one another of your reading lessons.

[There's a softness to her tone when she talks about Steph that isn't there any other time. Steph is one of the most important people in the world to Cass, so if Steph vouches for Doyle, he's automatically someone she wants to know.]

Oh trust me, I can see she's good people just from the month I know her. I don't think someone could ask for a truer friend then that one, your lucky on that account love.

Sounds good to me, if you need anything at all, you can generally find me up on deck this late or hangin' round Dean if he's up, should you need anything at all. I best be lettin' you go though I can't steal all your time.
