She may or may not have some little yellow flowers in her hair, don't worry about those.]

Loki is gone. I don't... know if it's for good. But... he's gone now.

[Will the Admiral even pair them back up if he happens to return? She doesn't know. She doesn't really know if she wants that or not.]

I guess... more free time, now? [Why doesn't she look happy about that?] Don't know. Just wish... I'd done more, for him.

[ Steph knows how that feels. She also knows that Loki was a total ass, and she hopes Cass gets assigned someone better. ]

You want to come by the gym? I'm stuck here covering for Kon, but it's totally boring.

[ She's been filling the time practicing her gymnastics moves, but there's only so many flips one can do before one starts to get dizzy. ]

[There's not even a response, she just heads straight for the gym to find Stephanie. She doesn't come here often now that there's a place she can go to hit things and not worry about breaking them, but it looks just the same as it ever has.]

Stephanie?

[ She's hanging upside-down from one of the high bars, watching someone across the room lift weights when Cass comes in. She twists and waves before hopping down. ]

Cass, hey!

[Already she feels much better, smiling at Steph's acrobatics. She goes straight over to her, clearly expecting a hug.]

Hi. Having fun?

[ Well, who is Steph to disappoint? She spreads her arms and lets Cass come to her before wrapping her arms around her best friend. ]

You know me, I hate sitting still. Which is basically all this job is. I feel like a life guard on a school day.

[With a very content sigh, Cass hugs back tightly.]

Should have brought something, a distraction. Will have to settle for me.

You mean you're not the distraction?

[ She gives Cass a good squeeze before letting up. ]

I'm sure we'll find something to do.

[She looks over the gym equipment, trying think up something fun to do.]

Can't really... play tag on this stuff.

[ Steph considers that. There isn't room for rooftop tag. And they can't leave the gym. What can they do? ]

Hey, have you ever tried gymnastics? Not just the moves, but an actual routine?

No?

[The first bit of that is drawn out a little bit and accompanied by a strange look because why would she do the routine? Unless kicking stuff counts as a routine but she's pretty sure that's not what Steph means.]

[ She figured, but it was worth asking. ]

Like this. [ She pauses only a moment before going into a basic routine - cartwheel, two handsprings, positioning her just under the bar and ready to do two flips before jumping off into a nice landing. ]

[With a grin, Cass of course gives Stephanie a round of applause.]

Do I... give you points, now?

[ Steph takes a little bow. ]

Ten out of ten, am I right? It's not like combat training. You have to think about appearance and straight lines and smooth transitions.

Eleven, even.

[She gets an extra point for being Stephanie. She takes what Steph did and changes it, turns the cartwheel into a backflip and instead of landing under the bar, she leaps for it instead, swings herself up onto it to balance there on her hands. Steph had said straight lines, so she points her toes and then shifts her weight to one hand, lifting the other off the bar and just holding like that.]

[ Steph gives a fairly impressed round of applause. Of course Cass can improvise, she's Cass. Still, it's a nice move, the balancing act. ]

Very nice. Can you land like I did from that position?

Yes.

[And she does, but adds an extra flip to her dismount just to show off a little for Steph. Well, a little more.]

[ And now Cass gets a full round of applause and at least one quiet cheer. ]
