[Hello there Barge. Cass is in the library, sitting on the floor with a bunch of books spread around her. When she turns the feed on, she's got a copy of A Tale of Two Cities in her hands. She'd recognized it as the book she had tried to read when she had stayed at Tim's apartment, but it was only the spine and the cover she knew. She still has no idea what it's about, or even what it is.]

Um. Don't know lots of things. Trying to learn. Reading, how to... use comm. But...

[Well, staring at words and trying to will them into making sense? It's not very effective.]

Need help. Had offers. Cashing in. [It's possible she got that phrase from Dean.] In library. Anyone can come, need... lots of help.


(ooc: ABSOLUTELY ANYONE is welcome to come and see Cass about reading, even if they haven't previously talked to her about helping out. Come and poke the little bat!)

Beginner books have different genres too. What kind of things do you want to read about?

Do they have... beginner detectives? Like detectives too.

[She looks around the library and chews on her lower lip as she tries to figure out where the beginner books might be.]

Where should... I- we, start?

It's a big library, there's probably a section for it somewhere. [Not sure where the beginners section is.] Want me to head over here and we can look together?

Okay. If not... busy, would like help.

I'm Angel and I'll be over in a few. [Gets up and heads over to the library.]

[While she's waiting for him, Cass leaves her pile of books to try to find some books that look a little less difficult.

When Angel comes into the library he'll find her standing on a chair trying to get a better look at one of the top shelves.]

[He's been to the library several times since his arrival so he can navigate around it easily alive. Nods his head to her in greeting once he arrives.]

[Cass waves to him from her place on top of the chair.]

Realized, don't know what... beginner books look like.

[Eyes a few of and plucks one out of the shelf.] I don't think this is the section you want.

[hellofist]

[Welp. Now she jumps down, but her eyes don't leave Angel. There's something about him that's not human, not meta, but she's getting used to seeing that here.]

Any guesses where... to start?

[Notes that she's studying him and he has an idea of why.]

Let's try a few rows back and see what they have there.

[He's good, though. She can see it all through him, he's only interested in helping people, in helping her, so she grins up at him and nods.]

[Angel leads the way to a section he noticed had some brightly colored books in it. Begins to search through the rows to see what he can uncover.]

Have you taught, before?

[She'd help him look, but she really doesn't know what she's looking for.]

I've taught a few things before. Do you know who Doyle is?

Yes! He's helping, too.

[Smiles.] He's good at that kind of thing, even if he doesn't always admit to it.

He's nice.

[She hasn't talked to him much, but she doesn't have to to. Just like she already knows Angel is nice, too.]

Are you? Good at it, too?

[Grins at her and produces a book moments later.

Shows the book to her and reads the title out loud.]

Finn McCool and the Giant Fish. It's not a detective story but I think you'll still like it.

[She's looking, admittedly, a little skeptical.]

It's a beloved Irish Folklore story. I'm originally from Ireland.
