She'd recognized it as the book she had tried to read when she had stayed at Tim's apartment, but it was only the spine and the cover she knew. She still has no idea what it's about, or even what it is.]

Um. Don't know lots of things. Trying to learn. Reading, how to... use comm. But...

[Well, staring at words and trying to will them into making sense? It's not very effective.]

Any kind of book in particular you're interesting in reading? Finding a genre you like helps. Reading detective novels got me hooked.

You start at the beginning; best way to do anything. Like solving a case. Find the pieces, string them together. Complicates from there.

[A pause, a momentary clench and relaxation of his jaw. He's thinking. Considering.
