She'd recognized it as the book she had tried to read when she had stayed at Tim's apartment, but it was only the spine and the cover she knew. She still has no idea what it's about, or even what it is.]

Um. Don't know lots of things. Trying to learn. Reading, how to... use comm. But...

[Well, staring at words and trying to will them into making sense? It's not very effective.]

Need help. Had offers. Cashing in. [It's possible she got that phrase from Dean.] In library. Anyone can come, need... lots of help.

[It was just easier to spread all the books out on the floor, was all. But to Cass, Zev seems like a girl who should sit in chairs, not on floors. She's too pretty to sit on the floor.]

[Zev lived on a meatship. She's happy to sit on the floor. She goes to the library with her armful of easy to read books she checked out and has been muscling her way through.

Honestly, it'll be easier trying to read out loud in front of Cass because Cass won't mind when she gets words wrong.]

[She sits down beside of her and starts flipping through this book] I have a few here. [She honestly did the shallow thing of picking out the ones with pictures on the covers she liked. She has a few simplified fairy tales too.]

[Both because she likes being near people and because she doesn't want to make Zev lean all the way over, Cass leans towards her too and meets her half way to hand over the copy of A Tale of Two Cities she's been hanging on to.]

[She read it herself, so she honestly doesn't know, and doesn't bother to correct her.] Wait. If a word is really hard---

[She goes and puts 790 in front of them.] He can read it to us.

[She stares for a second, looks between Zev and 790 a few times, and then fixes Zev with the most awestruck look possible.]

It can... tell us words?
